Cloudy Morning at the Jack Russell Market

 Hey everyone!

On this drizzly morning, I walked down to the Jack Russell Park weekend market to check out what kinds of wares I could find. If you were unaware, this weekend market is held every Sunday from 9:00-2:00, and is bustling with people running their individual stalls. These small shops sold everything from coffee (which I definitely enjoyed the smell of while walking around the park), to pizza, to unique and intricate jewelry. The shop was quite busy while I was there around 10:00 am, filled with people on their morning walks, taking their children for a stroll, or simply letting their dogs get some exercise. While I was walking around window-shopping, it was nice to hear a man set up with his guitar and microphone singing some acoustic blues songs, it really gave the venue a kind of small-town, "folk-y" atmosphere that was quite welcoming and comforting. This weekend market is definitely something you must check out when you're in the Jax Beaches, small, community markets like this have long been a part of the culture and community here at the beach, and it's something you must check out if you wish to fully immerse yourself in the ways of life of the Jax Beaches. You definitely won't be disappointed after experiencing this small, quaint market.
